Building Permits and Inspection
Construction and building inspectors ensure that new construction, changes, or repairs comply with local and national building codes and ordinances, zoning regulations, and contract specifications. The Town of Waterville Valley requires building permits for all construction that exceeds $1000.         The mission of the Code Enforcement Division is to promote and maintain a safe and desirable living and working environment. We help maintain and improve the quality of our community by administering a fair and unbiased enforcement program to correct violations of municipal codes and land use requirements. We also work with residents, condo associations, contractors, and public services agencies to facilitate voluntary compliance with State laws and codes.      Director of Public Safety, Christopher Hodges is the town Health Officer. The Health Officer is responsible for being the eyes and ears of the State of New Hampshire Health and Human Services Department for Waterville Valley. This includes commercial food preparatory facilities and public pool monitoring.
